HOW IT WORKS

The science behind Stll.

No mystery, no magic. Here is what sweat actually is, what our active does and what to expect.

What sweat actually is

Sweating is a natural process your body uses to regulate temperature — it is supposed to happen. Sweat itself is nearly odorless; the smell people worry about develops when sweat meets bacteria on the skin.

For some people the volume is simply much higher than average. Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is common, it is not a hygiene problem, and it can be managed.

What sweat actually is

What aluminum chloride does

Stll Dry contains aluminum chloride, an antiperspirant active that has been used for decades. Applied to completely dry skin, it forms a temporary plug in the opening of the sweat gland, which reduces how much sweat reaches the surface. The plug is shed naturally as your skin renews itself.

It works locally, on the area where you apply it — the rest of your body keeps cooling itself as normal.

  • Apply at night to completely dry, unbroken armpit skin
  • Rinse the area in the morning
  • Reduce frequency once control improves
  • Results and skin tolerance vary — follow the label
What aluminum chloride does

Why you apply it at night

Sweat glands are naturally least active while you sleep, which gives the active time to settle into the gland instead of being washed out by sweat. That is why dermatology guidance commonly recommends nighttime application on fully dry skin.

In the morning you simply rinse. No residue through the day, nothing to reapply at lunch.
